1. Program Overview and Acceptance
1.1. Agreement: By submitting your application to the Treat Day Spa Affiliate Program (the “Program”), you (the “Affiliate”) agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. 1.2. Merchant: The Program is managed by Treat Day Spa (Pty) Ltd (“The Spa,” “We,” “Us”), operating at its various locations (e.g., Highlands North). 1.3. Enrollment & Review: We reserve the sole right to approve or reject any Affiliate application for any reason. Applications may be rejected if the affiliate’s promotional channels (website, social media, etc.) conflict with the luxury brand image and values of The Spa. 1.4. Affiliate Status: Affiliates will be notified of their approval status via email. Approved Affiliates will be granted access to the Affiliate Dashboard.
2. Commission Structure and Tracking
2.1. Standard Commission: The Affiliate will earn a commission of 10% on the net total price of all Qualifying Purchases referred through their unique Affiliate Link. The net sale price is the final amount paid by the customer, excluding taxes, discounts, or vouchers. 2.2. Qualifying Purchase: A Qualifying Purchase is defined as a booking, package, or voucher purchased and paid for in full online via the Treat Day Spa website, successfully tracked by the Affiliate’s unique tracking link. 2.3. Exclusions: Commission will not be paid on the following:
- Transactions that result in a chargeback, refund, cancellation, or customer no-show.
- Bookings that are forfeited due to cancellation/rescheduling policies (as per The Spa’s standard terms).
- Purchases made by the Affiliate for their own personal use (self-referral). 2.4. Tracking Period (Cookie Life): The attribution window is 30 days. Commission is earned only if the purchase is completed within 30 days of the customer’s last click on the Affiliate’s link.
3. Payment and Validation
3.1. Validation Period: All commissions are subject to a 30-day validation period from the date of purchase to account for any customer refunds or payment disputes. 3.2. Payment Schedule: Confirmed commissions will be paid out monthly, generally within the first 10 days of the following month (e.g., commissions earned in October are paid in early November). 3.3. Minimum Payout Threshold: The Affiliate must accrue a minimum of R500 in confirmed, validated commissions before a payout will be issued. Any balance below the threshold will roll over to the next month. 3.4. Payment Method: Payments will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a nominated South African bank account or other method mutually agreed upon. The Affiliate is responsible for providing accurate and updated payment details.
4. Promotional Guidelines and Restrictions
4.1. Mandatory Disclosure: The Affiliate must clearly and prominently disclose their compensated relationship with The Spa in all promotional content. On social media, the use of #ad, #TreatDaySpaPartner, or similar tags is mandatory. 4.2. Trademark & Brand Usage: The Affiliate may use the official Treat Day Spa logo and brand assets provided in the Affiliate Dashboard solely for the purpose of promotion. The Affiliate may not use the Spa’s name or any variation thereof in:
- Domain Names or Sub-domains.
- Paid Search/PPC Ads: Bidding on our branded terms (e.g., “Treat Day Spa,” “Treat Day Spa Sandton”) is strictly prohibited. 4.3. Prohibited Content: The Affiliate must not make any false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims regarding the Spa’s services, quality, or pricing. Spamming, malicious advertising, or deceptive marketing practices are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination.
5. Term and Termination
5.1. Termination for Breach: We reserve the right to terminate the Affiliate’s participation in the Program immediately, without prior notice, if the Affiliate breaches any part of these Terms and Conditions. 5.2. Termination Without Cause: Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, for any reason, by giving the other party written notice. 5.3. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, the Affiliate must immediately remove all links, advertisements, and promotional materials related to Treat Day Spa. Final confirmed commissions will be paid in the next cycle, provided the R500 threshold has been met.
